Chan Neo LLP is a boutique law firm specialising exclusively in construction and building law, with more than 30 years of history, being founded in 1987 as Chan Tan & Partners, later known as Chan Tan LLC and now Chan Neo LLP from 2011. The firm represents clients of all tiers in the infrastructure, engineering, building and construction industries and provides services from front-end contract drafting to dispute resolution including mediation, adjudication under the Building and Construction Security of Payments Act and arbitration. It has been awarded the Straits Times – Singapore’s Best Law Firms since 2022.

Indeed, the practice of the firm develops with the building and construction industry in Singapore from drafting standard form contracts including the Singapore Institute of Architects main contract and sub-contract forms and Real Estate Developers Association of Singapore design and build standard form of contract, to conducting regular lectures and seminars with industry bodies from the BCA Academy, the Board of Architects, the Singapore Institute of Surveyors and Valuers, the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, the Institute of Engineers, to the Singapore Contractors Association Limited and other organisations, and to publication of books on construction law.
